City Alive Albuquerque Tour

Wednesday, June 20, 2018 | 8:00a.m. – 11:00a.m.

Join us for a tour featuring City Alive, a collective impact initiative in Albuquerque that is bringing different sectors of the community – from government, to the business, education, philanthropy and nonprofit sectors – together to promote economic mobility, job creation and racial equity that ensures access to opportunity for all. City Alive’s goals are to: add 10,000 net new living-wage jobs, reduce unemployment to 4.5% and increase median weekly wages to $932, all by 2025. City Alive is focused on supporting low-income people (who represent 70 percent of the city’s population) and removing barriers for people of color, low-income adults, single parents, veterans and immigrants so they can equally access the economic mobility entrepreneurship can provide. The City Alive tour will highlight examples of innovative programs throughout the city that foster inclusive economic development.
